Background & Experience
Michael has been a part of the Palestine community his entire life. He was born and raised in the area and graduated from Palestine High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M in 1983. Prior to his financial services career, Michael taught Life Science at the local high school. In 1991, he joined AG Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, as a Financial Consultant. He currently holds FINRA Series 7, 9/10 & 63 securities registrations & an insurance license. Michael recently celebrated 30 years in the industry.
Focus
Michael knows that every client is unique, and he enjoys getting to know each of them so he can better guide them through each phase of the investment process. He strives to understand what is important to each client so that he can develop a specific strategy that will help them achieve their individual dreams and goals.
Away from the Office
Michael and his wife, Stacy, live on a ranch outside of Palestine. They have one daughter, Emma Kathryn. She is currently attending Texas A&M University studying to be a veterinarian. When he is not at work, you can likely find Michael riding horses, tending to his cattle, or in a tractor. Michael and his family are members of Triple S Cowboy Church in Palestine. He currently serves as an Elder over Finance for the church. Additionally, Michael has served many years on the Palestine ISD School Board as well as the Treasurer for the Anderson County Youth Livestock Association. Michael proudly supports youth from local schools with their animals and AG projects at the annual county shows.
